EleMental Prototype by Team DarkWynter Amanda Chaffin Priyesh Dixit Hunter Hale Jason Hardman Subhir Rao January 2007 for Game Design & Development Studio taught by Dr. Michael Youngblood This prototype is mainly a proof-of-concept to see how we might implement various aspects of our game. It supports only two elements, Wind and Earth. There are two shader effects that will only work on the PC (if your card supports it): the water wave and fire wave. The controls are as follows: -PC- WSAD: move Mouse: hold left-button and move to look Tab: shoot boulder (or pumpkin.. you'll see) 1: swap to earth mode 4: swap to wind mode Space: Earth-raise terrain Wind-fly up Left shift: Earth-drop terrain Wind-fly down f: do pretty fire shader g: do pretty water shader -360 controller- (can be used on the PC version if you plug it in the USB port) Left stick: move Right stick: look Right bumper: shoot boulder (or pumpkin.. you'll see) A: swap to earth mode Y: swap to wind mode Right trigger: Earth-raise terrain Wind-fly up Left trigger: Earth-drop terrain Wind-fly down B: do pretty fire shader X: do pretty water shader One more FYI, if you plug in a controller on the PC it will default to two player mode where Player1 is using the keyboard and Player2 is using the controller. If you plug two controllers you can do two-player mode! Enjoy!
